Finding The RIGHT Home, In The RIGHT Price Range, In The RIGHT Location Can Be TOUGH.
Given a young couple that are shopping for a home in Upland, CA so that they can be close to family, and have a budget of under $250,000 among other criteria. Finding this home is certainly possible, but understanding the nature of the market in Upland and surrounding cities explains why they are seeing more listings from me several miles away, on the outskirts of their allowable search area.
Certainly, each city has it's own flavor and makeup. The reasons for these differences are nebulous, sometimes having to do with history, employment opportunities, geography, transportation etc. Whatever the reasons, there are differences in the makeup of the homes that hit the market.
My client's chosen communities are Claremont, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga and Fontana. Check out the red bars. The best bet of finding the home they want is in Fontana and Rancho Cucamonga... Upland if we get really lucky. I'm not holding my breath for homes in Claremont at all.
So Mr. & Mrs Buyer, this is why you aren't getting many listings from Upland and lot of prospective properties from farther points east. Finding The RIGHT Home, In The RIGHT Price Range, In The RIGHT Location Can Be TOUGH.
