September Is National Preparedness Month - Like Having Insurance, Preparedness IS NOT An Option, It's A NECESSITY.

This is a public service article. It is one that I hope you will take very seriously. September Is National Preparedness Month - Like Having Insurance, Preparedness IS NOT An Option, It's A NECESSITY.

You can not know when something will happen or where you will be.

I have no idea why September was picked as the National Preparedness Month, but frankly, the month does not matter. What is important is that you do something about the health and welfare of you and your family BEFORE YOU NEED IT. If you set September as the month in which to get this done... you have about two weeks left at this writing.

Where do you start? First, Learn from the experts. The American Red Cross suggests doing three things:

  1. Get a Kit for your cars and for home.
  2. Make a Plan
  3. Get Informed

Follow the above link. There are great suggestions to help you protect your family.

I'm even going to take my own suggestion.
