At Home in Upland

Hello World! Introducing Brad Rachielles

In our daily lives, it is easy to handle a personal introduction, especially when we are face to face. we look the person in the eyes, smile, extend our hand and say something like "Hi, My name is Brad Rachielles". Immediately, we learn something about the other person through the interaction, how they respond, do they smile back, is their hand shake warm, energetic, strong or weak. The expression speaks volumes. Are they really glad to meet me? Are they Preoccupied? Are they Hail, Hardy and trusting? Blogging is different.

In this venue, my imposing height goes undetected. I am not the only "Brad" in the neighborhood... clearly. You can't tell that I AM very happy to interact with you from visuals. We don't have those sensory inputs working between us to say that all is well and my intentions are good. I am told that "transparency" is the way to communicate what we can not exchange face to face. As a Newbie to blogging, I'm not sure that I know too much about that, but I'm sure that will come with time.

Lacking that past interaction, ActiveRain has provided a place to jump start the inquiring mind. My profile is up and running. I've read many of yours and I'm impressed. My compliments to you, especially to the regular contributors with expertise that you share.

So, this is my first step into blogging. Maybe you can relate by thinking back to your first post... you know exactly where i am right now. Did you wounder (or maybe worry) about what to do next? did you have a file with a billion ideas at the ready to share with the world, or were you combing the news for something to react to - looking for angles? were you embroiled in an issue and ready to charge out and make the world right, or did you have questions and uncertainties to address with experts in real estate and related fields? I would love to hear from all AR bloggers who clicked through to this post.

OR, are you on the client side of real estate with questions about buying or selling a home? Do you have unanswered questions about the process, the terminology, the market... whatever? I'd love to hear from you!

Enough about me. This self-serving post is appropriate as an introduction, but now it's all about you. Share your thoughts and we'll both be on our way to transparency.
