At Home in Upland

Thank you AR for the "Delete" button.

I thought I had calmed down from my Saturday showings of ill-prepared homes and agent foibles. A post was carefully written to totally unload all of my angst, not missing even one of the sins that my clients and I had endured from the weekend which was cold and rainy to boot. If the truth be known, what I had ready to bubble over the top would probably fill numerous posts if it was my goal to certify myself as a raving idiot devoid of empathy.

I did write a long and heartfelt post with lots of pepper and all of the barbs were well driven home... I was on a tare rant. While everything was true and well deserved by all of my unknowing targets, civility and yet better judgement somehow grabbed me from the mistake I was about to make -

I HIT THE DELETE BUTTON.

Let me just say, kindly and with a bit of sugar rather than vinegar.... Agents, please coach your clients on the need for preparation for showing a home, and sellers, when you get these "showing tips" from your agent please heed them, ESPECIALLY when you require 24 hour notice for appointments. The 24 hours is to make things "ship shape".

In "My Little Corner of the World" there are quite literally thousands of "Active" listings that have been on the market for OVER 365 days. I STRONGLY suggest that this need not be the case.

Again, thank you AR for the "Delete" button
